Join our growing 50 year old, local non-profit network with offices in Belfast, Rockland and Bath. We care about people in our Mid-Coast Maine Communities and they need your help to get to and from appointments. Our diverse and fast growing network has room for anyone who wants to make a difference in someone’s life.

Volunteer drivers are needed in all communities within Waldo, Knox, Lincoln and Sagadahoc counties. If you have some time to give and enjoy driving and helping people, this is a great opportunity for you. You will be asked to transport individuals to medical and social service appointments. We ask for a commitment between two and six hour blocks of time a week, you can volunteer more if you wish.

The network includes men and women of all ages. Drivers are retirees, seasonal residents, veterans, college students, professionals, craftsmen, executives, really all walks of life. Some drive a few hours each week and some drive 40+ hours each week.  The common thread in our network is wanting to help people in our communities who need to get to medical and other important appointments. The number of people in need of rides in our communities is so great that any help you can give will make you the hero in someone’s life.

We provide Mileage Reimbursement at $0.44 per mile, for every mile, whether or not a passenger is in the vehicle.
